The figure of Guillermo Langle has been one of the pillars of the Spanish part of the project. At IES Azcona we have continued working on his figure by carrying out the MCM linked to his work within the margins of our institute or outside, commemorating School Mathematics Day, May 12.

It is time to compile everything learned and advanced and consolidate it to be able to continue building unforgettable experiences like this one. We will start with this message:

The last mobility with students of this Erasmus + project had as its meeting point the Escola Secundária Caldas das Taipas, near the town of Guimaraes. An emotional reunion with our fellow travelers and experiences that has been the finishing touch to this valuable initiative. During Erasmus Days 2022 we visited the UAL to enjoy a mathematical walk through the architecture of Al-Andalus. Our students participating in the project especially enjoyed the experience and remembered how much they had learned so far. And here is a sample of the fantastic exhibition put on by our Portuguese colleagues!

The sun and the sea welcomed us in Brindisi, just when the holidays were ending and we had to face a new course. This mobility allowed us to extend the enthusiasm for new experiences a little longer and also provided the opportunity to learn almost without realizing it. Forever in our memory:  IISS E. We visited Finland in spring, shy buds emerging from each branch and piles of snow scattered over the ground. The team of students, teachers and Management Team that welcomed us was magnificent, we received attention and affection and powerful hospitality. Organizing a welcome week is an enormous challenge, a lot of time trying to make sure everything goes well, without incident… We have faced it in times of pandemic and we can proudly admit that, within the special circumstances we live in, everything has worked out within of the planned order. Thanks to the team of teachers, non-teaching staff and the Management Team of IES Azcona for their involvement and effort. We discovered a city full of nuances, populated by hospitable and generous people.
